The Carnival of IMAX Movies - Review of “F1: The Movie”

This movie embodies the value of the existence of cinemas, especially for IMAX screens. At a time when streaming is starting to gradually become mainstream, this movie deserves to be watched in the cinema rather than on a TV or small screen on a mobile phone.

The plot of the movie is very old-fashioned and not worth mentioning, but the effect of the actual shooting in the F1 stadium beats other racing movies. For viewers who have not been to F1 before, the effect of watching in the cinema is enough to arouse their interest in going to the scene. Some of the footage taken from the perspective of a racer is even more shocking than watching it live. For viewers who don't have a concept of F1 races, can also learn some basic rules and some off-field tidbits.

Personally, I think that cinemas should focus on movie and television with shocking audio-visual effects and some large-scale sports competitions, live broadcasts of large-scale performances or post-production movies. Other movie and television dramas with average audiovisual effects focus on streaming.
